Much is being made and written about Republicans using Obamacare against the Democrats. Here’s a few selections of recent hits from AFP:
To us, this more than an issue hit. This is about credibility. And once you lose your credibility with voters its very difficult – nearly impossible – to get back. So when a politician is caught in an “untruth” it’s devastating. Democrats have been in over drive hitting the administration on the terrible roll out of Obamacare, but the regardless of what they do now – many of them made commitments to their voters that have turned out to be flat wrong. Even more damning is they spouted off the Democrat talking point – “you can keep your plan” – as a rational to vote for a controversial policy they pushed through on a party line vote. The damage is done, so voters should expect to see more of it. Credibility, hard to find once you lose it.
